While I was working in my corporate office job in the tourism sector, our company had two websites. Part of my role was managing those websites, which honestly felt like Chinese to me at the time. When My WordPress Installation Failed and DreamHost Fixed It

Even when I decided to build a website by myself two years ago, DreamHost support helped me again. Before starting, I had watched a lot of WordPress tutorials on YouTube about how to build and activate a website. Almost everyone says it’s very easy and that it only takes a few steps. But when you are a beginner, things are not always that simple.

As you can see, I contacted DreamHost after trying to activate WordPress for my website, but an error page appeared when I attempted to open it.

After checking my account, the support agent discovered that the WordPress installation status had not properly changed from “new” to “active.” To fix the problem, the agent removed the incomplete installation and started a fresh one-click installation for me.

Once the new installation finished, I was finally able to access the WordPress dashboard without any issues.
